The Healing Journey: How I Ignited My Path to Becoming a Healer
About 7 years ago when I was still working within our health care system and somehow very disappointed and disheartened about how human body and soul was treated within these organizations, I realized that I needed to remove myself from that environment.
I knew Humans are worth more than just being treated like machines and their heart and souls truly deserve true caring and compassion.
As a child I was always very much connected to the soul of our earth and the elements and had a strong desire to care for and soothe the human soul and those in distress and need. The gem of the healer has always been within me since birth, yet my upbringing and cultural conditioning was dictating me to disown that integral part of me.
However, at mid age I could no longer deny the calling that was so fiercely beckoning me towards my true essence.
My exploration of Energy healing began with studying Therapeutic Touch at Langra College. I then traveled to the big island in Hawaii, where I underwent my Shamanic initiation and delved into the sacred bodywork of Lomilomi Nui. Following this enriching experience, I furthered my education at Vancouver School of Healing Art, delving into Ayurvedic Medicine and the divine Indian Scalp massage.
Throughout my practice I have witnessed that most humans are hungry for sacred platonic touch that not only soothes their traumatized and tired body but also touches their souls, listens to their cry for connection and offers solace. This is a modality that surpasses massage and body work, this is a soul work and spiritual counseling that invites you back home and nourishes your soul. The home of the divine, your home within your own heart and the heart of creation.
This soulful work is deeply meaningful, as it not only heals and reconnects me to my purpose and soul destiny, but also enables me to guide and support the healing process of others in a manner that is not commonly seen in our society.
This work not only uplifts us and brings us back to our spiritual core, but it also actively alters the brain's neuroplasticity, rewiring our nervous system to move away from the perpetual fight-flight-freeze response and towards a state of equilibrium, trust, and homeostasis.

It is our right as individuals and as a collective human race to coexist peacefully, embrace the divine love within ourselves, and nurture our body and soul. By doing so, we can transform our world and experience profound healing. Here is the place of initiation and true healing, the journey to the core and rediscover a body and mind that is rejuvenated and healthy.
Namaste and looking forward to seeing you,
Nina
