Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage

A Sacred Somatic Healing for Women

Rooted in the ancient science of Ayurveda, this sacred spiritual treatment—also known as Shirobhyanga—is a deeply restorative somatic practice that honors the body as a vessel for healing and consciousness.

Performed in a seated position, the treatment gently activates marma points, rebalances the chakra system, and harmonizes the energetic field, offering the body a chance to unwind, integrate, and realign with its natural intelligence.

Wild-crafted, organic Ayurvedic oils are massaged into the scalp and head with great care and intention, supporting the nervous system, soothing the mind, and grounding the spirit. Depending on what is being held in the body at the time, sessions may last between 1 to 3 hours, allowing space for deeper release and restoration.

This holistic bodywork includes the upper back, neck, shoulders, arms, scalp, face, and chest—regions where tension, emotional memory, and energetic blocks are often stored. Through therapeutic touch and intuitive presence, the session supports the release of stored stress and invites the heart back into balance.

Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage may support:

Headaches and migraines

Muscular tension and “computer shoulders”

Emotional and energetic imbalance

Insomnia and nervous system fatigue

Lymphatic flow and sinus clearing

Anxiety, grief, and low mood

This is a sacred practice—not a quick fix—held in a safe and nurturing space where women are met with reverence and care. As Dr. Gabor Maté says, authenticity heals. This treatment invites that authenticity back into the body.
